RPMPackage xorg-x11-server-Xvfb-1.20.8-3.lbn25.1.x86_64
Xvfb (X Virtual Frame Buffer) is an X server that is able to run on machines with no display hardware and no physical input devices. Xvfb simulates a dumb framebuffer using virtual memory. Xvfb does not open any devices, but behaves otherwise as an X display. Xvfb is normally used for testing servers.
RPMPackage xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.20.8-3.lbn25.1.x86_64
X.org X11 is an open source implementation of the X Window System. It provides the basic low level functionality which full fledged graphical user interfaces (GUIs) such as GNOME and KDE are designed upon.
RPMPackage xorg-x11-server-Xnest-1.20.8-3.lbn25.1.x86_64
Xnest is an X server which has been implemented as an ordinary X application. It runs in a window just like other X applications, but it is an X server itself in which you can run other software. It is a very useful tool for developers who wish to test their applications without running them on their real X server.
RPMPackage xorg-x11-server-Xephyr-1.20.8-3.lbn25.1.x86_64
Xephyr is an X server which has been implemented as an ordinary X application. It runs in a window just like other X applications, but it is an X server itself in which you can run other software. It is a very useful tool for developers who wish to test their applications without running them on their real X server. Unlike Xnest, Xephyr renders to an X image rather than relaying the X protocol, and therefore supports the newer X extensions like Render and Composite.
RPMPackage xorg-x11-server-Xdmx-1.20.8-3.lbn25.1.x86_64
Xdmx is proxy X server that provides multi-head support for multiple displays attached to different machines (each of which is running a typical X server). When Xinerama is used with Xdmx, the multiple displays on multiple machines are presented to the user as a single unified screen. A simple application for Xdmx would be to provide multi-head support using two desktop machines, each of which has a single display device attached to it. A complex application for Xdmx would be to unify a 4 by 4 grid of 1280x1024 displays (each attached to one of 16 computers) into a unified 5120x4096 display.

This is the Synaptics touchpad driver for the X.Org X server. The following touchpad models are supported: * Synaptics * appletouch (Post February 2005 and October 2005 Apple Aluminium Powerbooks) * Elantech (EeePC) * bcm5974 (Macbook Air (Jan 2008), Macbook Pro Penryn (Feb 2008), iPhone (2007), iPod Touch (2008) Note that support for appletouch, elantech and bcm5974 requires the respective kernel module. A touchpad by default operates in compatibility mode by emulating a standard mouse. However, by using a dedicated driver, more advanced features of the touchpad become available. Features: * Movement with adjustable, non-linear acceleration and speed. * Button events through short touching of the touchpad ("tapping"). * Double-Button events through double short touching of the touchpad. * Dragging through short touching and holding down the finger on the touchpad. * Middle and right button events on the upper and lower corner of the touchpad. * Vertical scrolling (button four and five events) through moving the finger on the right side of the touchpad. * The up/down button sends button four/five events. * Horizontal scrolling (button six and seven events) through moving the finger on the lower side of the touchpad. * The multi-buttons send button four/five events, and six/seven events for horizontal scrolling. * Adjustable finger detection. Multifinger taps: two finger for middle button and three finger for right button events. (Needs hardware support. Not all models implement this feature.) * Run-time configuration using shared memory. This means you can change parameter settings without restarting the X server.
