To activate it use, uncomment the entry in /etc/cron.d/clamav-update. Use this package when you go updating the virus database regulary and do not want to download a >160MB sized rpm-package with outdated virus definitions.

Instead of, an instance of this daemon should be started for each service requiring it. See the README file how this can be done with a minimum of effort.

clamav-0.103.0-1.lbn25.x86_64: Clam AntiVirus is an anti-virus toolkit for UNIX. The main purpose of this software is the integration with mail servers (attachment scanning). The package provides a flexible and scalable multi-threaded daemon, a command line scanner, and a tool for automatic updating via Internet. The programs are based on a shared library distributed with the Clam AntiVirus package, which you can use with your own software. The virus database is based on the virus database from OpenAntiVirus, but contains additional signatures (including signatures for popular polymorphic viruses, too) and is KEPT UP TO DATE.

certmonger-0.78.6-4.lbn25.x86_64: Certmonger is a service which is primarily concerned with getting your system enrolled with a certificate authority (CA) and keeping it enrolled.
