glibmm24-2.56.0-2.lbn25.x86_64: glibmm is the official C++ interface for the popular cross-platform library GLib. It provides non-UI API that is not available in standard C++ and makes it possible for gtkmm to wrap GObject-based APIs.

glibc-utils-2.30.9000-1.lbn25.x86_64: The glibc-utils package contains memusage, a memory usage profiler, mtrace, a memory leak tracer and xtrace, a function call tracer which can be helpful during program debugging. If unsure if you need this, don't install this package.

If you are developing programs which will use the standard C libraries, your system needs to have these standard header files available in order to create the executables. glibc-common-2.30.9000-1.lbn25.x86_64: The glibc-common package includes common binaries for the GNU libc libraries, as well as national language (locale) support.

glibc-2.30.9000-1.lbn25.x86_64: The glibc package contains standard libraries which are used by multiple programs on the system. In order to save disk space and memory, as well as to make upgrading easier, common system code is kept in one place and shared between programs. This particular package contains the most important sets of shared libraries: the standard C library and the standard math library. Without these two libraries, a Linux system will not function.

glib2-static-2.63.6-1.lbn25.x86_64: The glib2-static subpackage contains static libraries for glib2.

glib2-fam-2.66.0-1.lbn25.x86_64: The glib2-fam package contains the FAM (File Alteration Monitor) module for GIO.

glib2-devel-2.63.6-1.lbn25.x86_64: The glib2-devel package includes the header files for the GLib library.

glib2-2.66.0-1.lbn25.x86_64: GLib is the low-level core library that forms the basis for projects such as GTK+ and GNOME. It provides data structure handling for C, portability wrappers, and interfaces for such runtime functionality as an event loop, threads, dynamic loading, and an object system.

glib-networking-2.50.0-1.fc25.x86_64: This package contains modules that extend the networking support in GIO. In particular, it contains libproxy- and GSettings-based GProxyResolver implementations and a gnutls-based GTlsConnection implementation.

glib-1.2.10-63.lbn25.x86_64: GLib is a handy library of utility functions. This C library is designed to solve some portability problems and provide other useful functionality that most programs require.

gjs-1.63.91-1.lbn25.x86_64: Gjs allows using GNOME libraries from Javascript. It's based on the Spidermonkey Javascript engine from Mozilla and the GObject introspection framework.
