RPMPackage gstreamer-plugins-base-tools-0.10.36-4.lbn13.x86_64
GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of filters which operate on media data. Applications using this library can do anything from real-time sound processing to playing videos, and just about anything else media-related. Its plugin-based architecture means that new data types or processing capabilities can be added simply by installing new plug-ins. This package contains the command-line tools for the base plugins. These include: * gst-discoverer

RPMPackage gstreamer-plugins-bad-nonfree-0.10.18-1.lbn13.x86_64
GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of elements which operate on media data. This package contains plug-ins that depend upon non-free libraries.
RPMPackage gstreamer-plugins-bad-free-extras-0.10.23-8.fc17.armv6hl
GStreamer is a streaming media framework, based on graphs of elements which operate on media data. gstreamer-plugins-bad contains plug-ins that aren't tested well enough, or the code is not of good enough quality. This package (gstreamer-plugins-bad-extras) contains extra "bad" plugins for sources (mythtv), sinks (fbdev) and effects (pitch) which are not used very much and require additional libraries to be installed.

RPMPackage gssdp-0.12.2.1-2.fc18.armv6hl
GSSDP implements resource discovery and announcement over SSDP and is part of gUPnP. GUPnP is an object-oriented open source framework for creating UPnP devices and control points, written in C using GObject and libsoup. The GUPnP API is intended to be easy to use, efficient and flexible.

RPMPackage gsm-tools-1.0.13-7.fc18.1302260937kf.armv6hl
Contains command line utilities for libgsm, an implementation of the European GSM 06.10 provisional standard for full-rate speech transcoding, prI-ETS 300 036, which uses RPE/LTP (residual pulse excitation/long term prediction) coding at 13 kbit/s.

RPMPackage gsm-1.0.13-7.fc18.1302260937kf.armv6hl
Contains runtime shared libraries for libgsm, an implementation of the European GSM 06.10 provisional standard for full-rate speech transcoding, prI-ETS 300 036, which uses RPE/LTP (residual pulse excitation/long term prediction) coding at 13 kbit/s. GSM 06.10 compresses frames of 162 13-bit samples (8 kHz sampling rate, i.e. a frame rate of 50 Hz) into 260 bits; for compatibility with typical UNIX applications, our implementation turns frames of 160 16-bit linear samples into 33-byte frames (1650 Bytes/s). The quality of the algorithm is good enough for reliable speaker recognition; even music often survives transcoding in recognizable form (given the bandwidth limitations of 8 kHz sampling rate). The interfaces offered are a front end modelled after compress(1), and a library API. Compression and decompression run faster than realtime on most SPARCstations. The implementation has been verified against the ETSI standard test patterns.
