ImageMagick-7.1.1.15-1.lbn36.x86_64: ImageMagick is an image display and manipulation tool for the X Window System. ImageMagick can read and write JPEG, TIFF, PNM, GIF, and Photo CD image formats. It can resize, rotate, sharpen, color reduce, or add special effects to an image, and when finished you can either save the completed work in the original format or a different one. ImageMagick also includes command line programs for creating animated or transparent .gifs, creating composite images, creating thumbnail images, and more. ImageMagick is one of your choices if you need a program to manipulate and display images. If you want to develop your own applications which use ImageMagick code or APIs, you need to install ImageMagick-devel as well.

It uses file based databases that can optionally be updated on a weekly basis by installing the geoipupdate-cron (IPv4) and/or geoipupdate-cron6 (IPv6) packages.

CuraEngine-4.13.1-2.fc36.x86_64: CuraEngine is a C++ console application for 3D printing G-code generation. It has been made as a better and faster alternative to the old Skeinforge engine. This is just a console application for G-code generation. For a full graphical application look at cura with is the graphical frontend for CuraEngine.

Coin4-4.0.0-10.fc36.x86_64: Coin3D is a high-level, retained-mode toolkit for effective 3D graphics development. It is API compatible with Open Inventor 2.1.

CharLS-2.4.2-2.lbn36.x86_64: An optimized implementation of the JPEG-LS standard for loss less and near loss less image compression. JPEG-LS is a low-complexity standard that matches JPEG 2000 compression ratios. In terms of speed, CharLS outperforms open source and commercial JPEG LS implementations. JPEG-LS (ISO-14495-1/ITU-T.87) is a standard derived from the Hewlett Packard LOCO algorithm. JPEG LS has low complexity (meaning fast compression) and high compression ratios, similar to JPEG 2000. JPEG-LS is more similar to the old loss less JPEG than to JPEG 2000, but interestingly the two different techniques result in vastly different performance characteristics.

Box2D-2.4.1-7.fc36.x86_64: Box2D is an open source C++ engine for simulating rigid bodies in 2D. Box2D is developed by Erin Catto and has the zlib license. While the zlib license does not require acknowledgement, we encourage you to give credit to Box2D in your product.

BackupPC-XS-0.62-7.fc36.x86_64: BackupPC::XS implements various BackupPC functions in a perl-callable module. This module is required for BackupPC V4+.

3dprinter-udev-rules-0.2.2-7.fc36.noarch: Normally, when you connect a RepRap like 3D printer to a Linux machine by an USB cable, you need to be in dialout or similar group to be able to control it via OctoPrint, Printrun, Cura or any other control software. Not any more. Install this rule to grant all users read and write access to collected devices based on the VID and PID. Disclaimer: Such device might not be a 3D printer, it my be an Arduino, it might be a modem and it might even be a blender. But normally you would add your user to dialout and get access to all of those and more anyway. So I guess be careful when some of the users should not get access to your blenders.

abseil-cpp-20240722.0-1.lbn36.x86_64: Abseil is an open-source collection of C++ library code designed to augment the C++ standard library. The Abseil library code is collected from Google's own C++ code base, has been extensively tested and used in production, and is the same code we depend on in our daily coding lives. In some cases, Abseil provides pieces missing from the C++ standard; in others, Abseil provides alternatives to the standard for special needs we've found through usage in the Google code base. We denote those cases clearly within the library code we provide you. Abseil is not meant to be a competitor to the standard library; we've just found that many of these utilities serve a purpose within our code base, and we now want to provide those resources to the C++ community as a whole.
