Development and Maintenance
Finding a business model to reward open source developers for their efforts and to fund their continued efforts is the most challenging problem in technology today.
The Last Bastion Network was set up by developers for developers, and this is our latest, and by far our most sophisticated effort to make and share returns from business-related open source work.
Commercial open source customers require and are prepared to pay for serious infrastructure to ensure their business continuity in the face to technological risk.
We now have the systems in place to allow our small team of remote developers to deliver this and much more. We are finalising our SRPM submission workflow for our Build Server.
We are a customer-driven organisation. You must join and set yourself up as an agent. You must have at least one system subscribed to BastionLinux to be representatively meeting customer requirements as a maintainer.
